We offer osteopathic, naturopathic and massage treatments for optimum health and vitality. Holistic medicine is a term used to describe therapies that attempt to treat the patient as a whole person. That is, instead of treating an illness, as in orthodox allopathic approach, holistic medicine looks at an individual’s overall physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing before recommending treatment. A practitioner with a holistic approach treats the symptoms of illness as well as looking for the underlying cause of the illness and in the body’s system.

Nicola is a fully qualified osteopath registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She attended the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complimentary Medicine) in 2009 and a Masters of Osteopathy in 2011. She is a member of Osteopathy Australia.
Nicola was drawn to osteopathy by its holistic philosophy and gentle hands on approach. She values the large range of techniques available to osteopaths that enable her to care for clients of all ages and treat a wide variety of conditions. She has a particular interest in women’s health, particularly ante-natal and post-natal care, and has undertaken post graduate study in the fields of obstetrics, paediatrics and cranial osteopathy.
Nicola has a passion for caring for and empowering the ‘whole person’ by providing integrated health care with other medical and allied health practitioners. This passion led her to commence practice in 2012, at ATUNE Health Centres in Newcastle, a leading Integrated Health Centre. In her six years there, Nicola had the opportunity to work with practitioners from a wide range of specialities including GP’s, psychologists, naturopaths, physiotherapists and breathing therapists to name a few. She found the broad scope of continuing education this provided invaluable. The highlight of her time there was creating and directing an integrated maternity care department to support women through all stages of conception, pregnancy and the post natal period.
Nicola believes that good health is a daily practice for which each individual is responsible. As a health practitioner, her role is to guide, facilitate and educate, ultimately empowering clients towards greater health. Her approach to healthcare strives to be holistic and take into consideration all factors that affect health.
